The home's story
The Window Seat That Watched the Seasons
Five bedrooms, a lake down the road, and a reading nook that saw it all.

When we moved here in 1994 we had two kids and a third on the way. We needed bedrooms. What we didn't know we needed was the window seat on the upstairs landing.
It faces the jacaranda in the front yard. Every June the tree blooms purple and the whole landing glows.
Every one of our kids did their homework on that window seat at some point, whether or not they had a desk.
Upstairs landing
The Window Seat
It's just a cushion and a wide sill, but it became the most used spot in the house. Reading, phone calls, sulking, napping, watching for the school bus.
Little things worth knowing
- Jacaranda in front blooms purple each June
- Sycamores along the back fence shade the patio
- Lake association beach club is a short drive
- Library wall in the living room holds about 1,200 books

Hello, new neighbors,
Sit in the window seat the first week of June. That's all the advice we have.
